Larry Carter, age 61 of 53 Simpson Circle died Monday, May 7th at the Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.
He was born in Rockmart, GA and was a son of the late Isaac and Louise Ferguson Carter.
Mr. Carter was a former employee of Hill’s Service Company7 and was U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Surviving are his son, Sidney Carter and daughter, Betty Jo South both of Joanna; a brother, Allan Carter of Greenville; three grandchildren; a step son, Troy Larry Barker; and a special friend, Mary Barker of Ware Shoals.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
