Larry Eugene Pace

Larry Eugene Pace, age 78, of Clinton, widower of Linda Jo Cash Pace, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at his home. 

 He was born on April 25, 1946, in Clinton, SC, and was the son of the late Leroy Ethelda Edmonds Pace. Larry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. After his service, he retired from Clinton Mills and became the owner of Meadowbrook Gardens. He was honored with an induction into the Joanna Lion's Club Hall of Fame. Larry was a devoted member of Hurricane Baptist Church. 

 He is survived by his children, Mark Walker, and Lisa Bodie; two adopted children, Jada and Joseph Grover; his brother, Henry Pace; his sisters, Carolyn Edwards, Margie Kuykendall, and Dianne Hunt; his grandchildren, Jessica Washebek (Adam), Austin Satterfield (Meg), Rebecca Wilkie, Amiee Walker and Amanda Walker; one great-grandchild, Sawyer Washebek. 

 In addition to his parents and his beloved wife of 51 years, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce Pace, Eddie Pace, and David Pace; and his sisters, Joy Brown and Jane Hollingsworth. 

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Hurricane Baptist Church, with Rev. Jake Patterson officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.
