Laura Foster Burns, age 88, formerly of 103 Grandview Acres and the widow of Joseph J. Burns died Friday, January 21, 2011 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Gastonia, NC and was the daughter of the late Samuel Columbus and Bessie Mae Primm Foster.
Mrs. Burns was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Keenagers.
She is survived by a daughter, Judith B. Lynch of Clinton; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard Foster and Harvey Foster both of Clinton; 2 sisters, Dorothy Trammell and Martha Watts both of Clinton.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Burns Tinsley; 5 brothers, Lloyd R. Foster, Harry L. Foster, Paul Foster, Hoyle Foster and Charlie Foster.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
