Laura Ward Grady

Laura Ward Grady, age 89, of 180 Cypress St. and widow of Claude Grady, Sr. died Saturday, December 5, 2009 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Hendersonville, NC and was the daughter of the late Arthur Edward and Nora Melinda Summey Ward.
Mrs. Grady was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of the Lydia Presbyterian Church.
She is survived a daughter, Peggy Koenig of Gray Court; two sons, Steven D. Grady of Iraq and Ricky H. Grady of Clinton; a brother, Pie Ward of Union and a sister, Faye Henderson of Clinton; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Butch Grady.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Chapel with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
