Lewis (Papa Lewis) Stewart Randolph, age 79 of 530 Forest Road, died Monday, May 15th at his home.
He was born in Burnsville, NC and was a son of the late Marcus and Pearl Cooper Randolph.
He was self-employed and retired from Randolph Brothers Painting Contractors. He was a member of Believers Assembly and was a World War II Navy Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Molly Gregory Randolph of the home, five daughters, Christine Lloyd and Janice Kuykendall of Chapel Hill, NC, Jean (Valerie) Ward of Clinton, Jane Honeycutt of Burnsville, NC, and Heather Dunaway of Clinton; three sons, J. C. Gregory raised in the home, Eddie Gregory of Chappells and James Gregory of Laurens; one brother, Vestel Randolph of Marion, NC, two sisters, Evelyn Randolph and Opal Harriss both of Marion, NC and a very special niece Kim Tucker that helped in the home; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 17th at 4:00 in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
