Lila Casey McAlister

Lila Casey McAlister, the daughter of Ruth George Casey Chapman and Feldmon Lee Casey, passed away in her home on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Alva S. McAlister; a daughter Angie McAlister Dillon and husband, Emory, a daughter, Lisa McAlister Thompson and husband, Greg; grandson, Stephen Emory Dillon and wife, Sally; granddaughter, Donet Dillon Morf and husband, Joseph and great granddaughter, Lila Sophia Morf. She is survived by her two sisters, Cathleen Casey Morton and Mildred Casey Lindsey as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by sisters, Mary Juanita Casey and Janette Casey Osborne and brother, Marion H. Casey.
A memorial service will be held at Wayside Baptist Church in Laurens on Monday, August 1st at 2:30 p.m. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A private burial will be held with her husband and children.
The family will be at the home, 205 Elm Street (Collegeview), Clinton, SC 29325.
