Lilian Forester

Lillian Forester, age 102, of 231 Oak St and widow of Anthony Forester died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at White Oak Manor in Tryon, NC.
She was born in Rock Hill, SC and was a daughter of the late Robert Addlie and Carrie Wright Harrison.
Mrs. Forester retired from Lydia Mill and later Presbyterian College. She was a member of Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Owens and wife Lyn of Spartanburg and Gene Owens of NC; a daughter –in-law, Carroll Lawton Johnson; a sister Bobbie Bolt of Ware Shoals; grandchildren, Tony Lawton, Donna McElhany, Kevin Owens, Rachael Owens; six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Donald Lawton, a brother, Eugene Harrison and three sisters, Eunice Harrison, Eula Wingate and Betty Craig.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church by Rev. Jim O’Brian with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
