Lillian Eskew Yarbrough

Lillian Eskew Yarbrough, of 1518 Church Street, Whitmire, 91, died Saturday, June 9, 2007. She was the widow of Leroy “Roy” Yarbrough, who passed away in 1982.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Arthur Jenkins and Susie Mahaffey Eskew. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitmire.
Survivors include one son, Michael L.” Mickey” Yarbrough and his wife Vickie of Prosperity; one daughter, Emmy Jean Yarbrough Moss and her husband James of Whitmire; one sister Bertha Williams of Kings Mountain, N.C.; four grandchildren, Sheila Hunnicutt, Barbara Jean Kirkley, Cyndi Moss-Johnson, and Katie Moss-Jenkins; six great-grandchildren, Amber Danielle Hunnicutt, Leslie H. Weaver, Hailey Kirkley, Ryan Mahaffey Johnson, Addaline Johnson and Mikhail Moss-Jenkins.
She is predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church of Whitmire. Burial will follow in the Union Memorial Gardens in Union, S.C.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30-3:00 P.M. at the church prior to the service and other times at the home of the daughter, Emmy Moss, 850 Lovers’ Lane, Whitmire.
