Lillie Boyter Griffin

Lillie Boyter Griffin age 66 of 6119 Hwy. 66, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Laurens County and was retired from Lydia Mill.
Mrs. Griffin was the daughter of the late J.B. and Mary Jane Thrift Boyter.
She is survived by two sons, James Carlton Griffin of Bonds Cross Roads, and Charles Ray Griffin of Joanna; three daughters, Darlene Gillian of Stomps Springs, Donna Gillian and Amanda Rae Griffin, both of Bonds Cross Roads; two brothers, Bluford Boyter of Laurens, and Alex Boyter of Kinards; three sisters, Angela Farmer, Peggy Boyter, and Bessie Boyter, all of Bonds Cross Roads; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a special companion, Charles Alexander.
Mrs. Griffin was predeceased by a brother, Freddie Boyter, a sister, Mary Faulkner, two grandchildren, Tabatha Hazel and Angel Griffin; and a great grandchild, Jacob Gillian.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Griffin Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
