Linda Mae Goodwin Loveless, age 70, of 503 Milton Road, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Laurens Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Greenville County and was a daughter of the late Louise Butler Smith and the late JD Goodwin.
Mrs. Loveless was a former employee of Whitten Center and Hartness – Thornwell Home for children.
She is survived by her husband James J. Loveless of the home; her step-father Johnny Butler of KY; her sons Perry Alexander (Beverly) of Clinton and James Joseph Loveless II of Joanna; her daughter Cecila Alexander of Greenville; her brothers Robby Butler (Shelby) of KY and Joe Butler of Waterloo; her sisters Pat Johnson of PA and Ann Dickerson of FL; thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th at 11:00 am at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends before the service from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
