She was born in Spartanburg County and was a daughter of the late J.D. Yarborough and Ruby Golden Yarborough. She was a retired teacher from Laurens District 55 and was working part time with the Adult Education Program at District 55. She was also a member of Ora ARP Church.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
