Linda Grace Vaughan

Linda Vaughan, age 81, passed away, Monday, March 10, 2025 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 17, 1943 in Clinton, SC, and was the daughter of the late Jefferson McCuin and Daisy Philips Ficklin. Linda Retired from the South Carolina Housing Authority after 35 years of service. She was a member of Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Linda is survived by her son, Myron Garrett (Dianne Stuart) of Simpsonville; her daughter, Lee Ann Hill of Clinton; her grandchildren, Michelle Gillespie (Michael), Nick Garrett, Rebecca Hill, and Savannah Moates; and her great-grandchildren, Caroline and Penelope Gillespie. “Love you all da way to da sky!”

In addition to her parents, husbands, and her siblings, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Dodie Garrett.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. Jimmy Heaton officiating.The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
