Linda Black Watkins

Linda Black Watkins, age 78, of Laurens, widow of Gerald Curtis Watkins, passed away, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Hospice of Laurens County. 

She was born January 13, 1947 in Clinton, SC, and was the daughter of the late, Marion and Iona Bell Spurgeon Black. Linda was a graduate of Clinton High School and was employed with Mansure, Jostens, and the Laurens YMCA over the years. 

Surviving are her children, Stephen Watkins (Michelle), and Melissa Watkins (April); and her grandchildren, Callier Watkins, and Haddon Watkins. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by her half-sister, Peggy Marie Black Wilkie. 

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Pinelawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Scott Tumblin officiating.
