Linda Stewart Whiteford

Linda Stewart Whiteford, age 84, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Regency Hospital in Greenville, SC.
She was born August 20, 1937 in Clinton, SC and was the daughter of the late Ralph Harold Stewart and Beulah King Stewart Ridings.
She retired from Bailey Memorial Hospital; was the secretary of Whiteford's Drive-In Inc. of Clinton; and was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ray Whiteford, her daughter, Susan Lewis (John) of Lexington, her son, Stephen Whiteford (Angie) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Jenna Whiteford of Clinton, Cody Sipes (Ashleigh) of Clinton; and her great-grandson, ller Sipes; many nieces and nephews she loved dearly and an abundance of cousins she held dear to her heart. She will be remembered for many things, but especially for her enormous heart and beautiful laugh.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Dorsey "Red" Ridings, her brother, Keith Stewart, and her grandson, Hunter Sipes.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton at 11:30 am. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 11 to 11:30am.
Following the service, a private burial is to take place at Rosemont Cemetery for family.
