Linda Carolyn Gillespie Walker

Linda Carolyn Gillespie Walker, age 68, of 374 Compton Road died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at her home.
She was born in Liberty and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Nell McDonald Gillespie.
Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Julian B. Walker of the home; a son, David and wife, Shirley Walker of Clinton; three daughters, Angela and husband Billy Snow of Laurens, Dorothy Graham of Mauldin and Janice and husband Tedford Ward of Clinton; a brother, Edward Gillespie of Tampa, FL; a sister, Sarah LaFontaine of St. Louis, MO; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Holcombe and a grandchild, Grayson Ward.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Janice and Tedford Ward, 384 Compton Rd., Clinton, SC.
