Lisa K. Hellams

Lisa K. Hellams of 3180 North Clearcreek Rd. passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Elizabeth Hospice House in Flat Rock, NC.
She was born in Laurens, SC and was the daughter of Clyde Murray and Sue Burch Shook and father, Billie Hellams.
She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church and was an avid softball player throughout her life.
Lisa is survived by her sisters, Karen Sipes, Donna Cox, Arlene Ivester and Elaine Weeks; her brothers, David Starnes and Johnny Hellams; 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and 1 great niece; as well as special friends, Cindy Rita, Teresa Griffin, and Freddie Love; and her softball team.
She was predeceased by her step-father, Walter Shook, her maternal grandparents, Landrum and Lillie Mae Burch, her paternal grandparents, Fannie Mae and Erskine Hellams.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 5th at 2PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
The family will be at the home of her sister, Karen Sipes, 363 Rabun Church Rd., Gray Court, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses or to the Four Seasons Hospice- Elizabeth House, 581 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC, 28731.
