Lisa Marie Burden Wilbanks
April 28, 1970 — March 10, 2019
Lisa Marie Burden Wilbanks, age 48, of 303 Blalock Drive Joanna, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of Nellie Strickland and Roger Burden.
Lisa was an employee of the United Community Bank and a member of the Woodruff Church of God. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be remembered for her friendly smile and caring “Big Heart” and as a beautiful, kind person with a loving spirit.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Brian Wilbanks of the home; her children, Cody Burden, Nicole Wilbanks and Jacob Wilbanks; her grandson, “Her Sweet Baby” Mason Burden and his mom, Megan Rowland; brothers, Roger Lee Burden (Kim) of Dalton GA, Danny Ray Burden (Annette) of Newberry and Robert Allen Burden (Elsa) of Simpsonville; sisters, Tina Ann Blake (Tim) of Chesnee and Rachel Joann Gordon (Jesse) of Newberry and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wilbanks was predeceased by her brother, Roger Dale Burden. Jr.; a nephew, Andrew Craine; maternal grandparents, Joe and Juanita Simmons; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Ruby Burden.
The family will be honoring Lisa wishes to have a private memorial service at a later date.
The family will be receiving friends at the home, 303 Blalock Dr., Joanna, SC 29351.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Building Fund or the Media Outreach Department of the Woodruff Church of God, 1636, 172 Poole Street Ext, Woodruff, SC 29388 or donations directly to the family to assist them with ongoing expenses c/o Brian Wilbanks, 303 Blalock Dr., Joanna, SC 29351.
