Lola Bell Bostic Nichols age 80 of 1833 Little Egypt Road, and widow of Milford A. Nichols, died Friday, January 28, 2011 in the NHC in Clinton.
She was born in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late James and Verda Mae Trent Bostic.
Mrs. Nichols was retired from Whitten Center and was a long time member of the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by a son, Danny Wayne (Cheryl) Nichols of Whitmire; two daughters, Carol Ann (Allen) Owens and Brantlee Susan (Chad) English, both of Whitmire; three brothers, Alfred Bostic of Clinton, Frank Bostic and Pete Bostic, both of Whitmire; two sisters, Ethel Broom of Whitmire and Altha “Teensy” Hartzog of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Derrick English, Colby English, Chase English, Cason English, Jeremy Nichols, Josh Nichols, Jonathon Owens and Tracy Hill; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie Duncan, Brittany Duncan, and Colton Nichols.
She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
