Loree Dunaway Lawson

February 12, 1920 — September 22, 2016

Loree Dunaway Lawson, age 96, formerly of 3703 Hwy 308 and widow of Boyce Lawson passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Laurens and was the daughter of the late William Dunaway and Fannie Bell.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by her two sons, Billy Joe Lawson and Raymond Lawson both Clinton; her daughter Shirley Longshore (Henry) of Newberry; her brother William “Buddy” Dunaway of Newberry; her sisters, Thelma Willard of Sumter and Louise Evans of Anderson; her grandchildren, Lynn Taylor (Gregg) of Newberry, Terry Longshore of Newberry, Glenn Longshore of Newberry, Jeff Lawson (Tiffany) of Clinton, Lori Irick (Dirk) of Fountain Inn, Jody Foster (Tina) of Joanna, Dean Barnett (Grace) of Clinton, Laura Barnett of Clinton, Mike Lawson of Greenwood, Greg Brown (Jimmie) of Ninety Six; her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her Son-in-Law, Lewis Brewington of Clinton.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her son, William Lawson, her daughters, Florence Brown, Mildred Foster, Margaret Brewington, and four grandchildren, Ricky Longshore, Amy Lawson, Ellis Barnett, and Tracey Patterson.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 2 PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will be at her home, 3703 Hwy 308, Clinton, SC 29325.
