Louella Huneycutt Thomas

Louella Huneycutt Thomas, age 94 and the widow of Ealie Thomas, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at the National HealthCare of Laurens.
She was born in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Rose Ann Carpenter Huneycutt.
Mrs. Thomas was retired from J. P. Stevens and attended the First Baptist Church of Whitmire.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Bowman and husband, Paul of Simpsonville, Mary Alice Pugh and husband, L.C. of Whitmire, one daughter-in-law, Phyllis Thomas of Whitmire; one sister, Ruth Gilliam of Greenville; eight grandchildren, Donald Bowman, Melanie Bowman, Charlene Parkins, Matthew Bowman, Melissa Stevens, Stephen Thomas, Timothy Pugh and Mason Pugh; twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and two special friends, Pat Kale and Susie Tomsey.
She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Thomas, a granddaughter, Marie Pugh, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 30th at 2:30 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
