Lougenia Sims Mccarley

Lougenia Sims McCarley, age 91 of 255 Horseshoe Circle died Monday, Feb. 12th at her home.
She was born in Pageland, SC and was a daughter of the late Otis and Martha Privette Martin.
Mrs. McCarley retired from J. P. Stevens, Whitmire Plant and was of the Methodist Faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Hurt of West Columbia, Betty Bragg and Joyce Hunnicutt both of Whitmire, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was the last of her siblings and was predeceased by two sons, Thomas “Sonny” Sims and Charles Lee Sims and her first husband, Lee Sims and second husband, Alec McCarley.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
