Louie “Old Country Boy” Edward Jones, age 90 of 105 Washington St. died Monday, January 19th at his residence.
He was born in Spartanburg, SC and was a son of the late Marion and Minnie May Burnett Jones.
Mr. Jones had been a resident of Whitten Center since 1928 and a resident with the Laurens County Special Needs and Disabilities since 1986. Mr. Jones enjoyed meeting people, making new friends and telling his stories about working with the Pepsi Cola Company
He is survived by his roommates, Frank Hicks and Mike Williams and his caregivers the staff of Washington St.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 21st at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
