Louise Emma Elliott Wright

Louise Emma Elliott Wright, age 87 of 422 Blalock Dr. and widow of Donaldson Vance (DV) Wright, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at her daughter’s home.
She was born in Madison County, GA and was a daughter of the late Henry Marvin and Gladys Higginbotham Elliott, Sr.
She was a former employee of Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and a member of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are one daughter and her husband, Linda Smart and John of Waterloo, one brother, Henry Marvin Elliott, Jr. of Florida; one sister, Ruby Lewis of Joanna; one granddaughter, Karen Larson of Greenwood, one step-grandson, Jeffrey Lee Smart of Laurens, three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Kirkland of Homerville, GA and Sidney and Taylor Roberts of Greenwood; one step-great grandson, Jeffery Lee Smart, Jr. of Laurens and one great-great granddaughter, Zoe Braelyn Daniel of Homerville, GA.
Graveside services will be conducted, Thursday, Oct. 6th at 3:00 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery by Rev. Dan Compton.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
