Lounges E. “Jaws” Hunnicutt, age 60 of 1132 Sinclair Ave., died Wednesday, Jan. 3rd at his home.
He was born in Whitmire and was a son of the late James Edward and Louise Wilbanks Hunnicutt.
He was employed with Carlisle Finishing Co.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Nelson Hunnicutt of the home, one son and his wife, Tony and Barbara Hunnicutt of Cinton, one step-son and his wife, Douglas Wayne and Ida Bridges of Mission, Texas; one sister, Frances Reid of Whitmire, four grandchildren, Patrick Haupfear, Victoria Hunnicutt, Courtney Hunnicutt and Seth Hunnicutt and two step-grandchildren, Gabriella Bridges and Joquin Bridges.
He was predeceased by a son, Ed Hunnicutt and four brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 6th at 2:00 p.m. in Whitmire Cemetery by Rev. Mitchell Byers.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
