Lucille Spoon Satterfield

Lucille Spoon Satterfield, age 96, widow of Walker Satterfield, passed away, Monday, January 13. 2025 at the home of her daughter. 

 She was born July 3, 1928 in Mt. Vernon, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Paul and Effi Spoon. Lucille retired from Greenwood Mills, a member of Lydia Baptist Church and most important – took care of her family. 

 Lucille is survived by her daughters, Judy Satterfield Wilkes and Vicki Satterfield Tucker (Johnny); her grandchildren, Julie Ann Crawford (Pete), Joey Wilkes and Gregg Wilkes (Jennifer); her great-grandchildren, Chris Wilkes (Ashley), Ridge Crawford, Chase Wilkes, Peyton Wilkes (Kiyli), Zach Wooten and Kahne Wooten; her great-great-grandchildren, Raelynn Wilkes and Harrison “Buster” Wilkes.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Satterfield; her granddaughter, Johnsie Satterfield Tucker, her son-in-law, Buddy Wilkes; her siblings, Ethel McLendon, Thelma Walker and Durant Spoon. 

 Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the gravesite following the service. 

 The family will be at the home of her daughter, Judy Wilkes, 324 Charlottes Road, Clinton, SC 29325
