Lucille Burns Miller

Lucille Burns Miller, age 95 and widow of Roy Richardson Miller died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Laurens County Hospice House.
She was born in Anderson County and was a daughter of the late Paul Watt and Sattie Lucille Richardson Burns.
Mrs. Miller was retired from the Department of Social Services after 27 years of service, was a member of the Mountville Baptist Church where she played the organ and was a member of the W.M.U.
Mrs. Miller was the last surviving member of her generation of the Burns family. She is survived by two nephews, Milton Burns and wife, Sara, Claude Burns and wife, Virginia, and two nieces, Carolyn Burns and Myra Young all of Mountville
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 18th at 2:00 p.m. in the Mountville Cemetery, a memorial service will follow in the Mountville Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. and the family will greet friends after the service at the church.
