Luella Johnson Cable, age 87 of 801 Musgrove St., died Thursday, November 17th in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Torrington, CT. and was a daughter of the late Elof and Lulu Johnson.
She was a retired employee of Rumsey Hall School in Washington, CT; a member of the Founders Congregational Church in Harwinton, CT; was the Harwinton Reporter for the Torrington Register Paper and a member of the Harwinton Grange. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Laurens.
Surviving are her husband, Walter Cable of the home, two sons, Rodney Cable of Florida and Robert Cable of Jacksonville, FL.; two daughters, Catherine Richard of Laurens and Patricia Thompson of Bristol, CT, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Presbyterian Home Chapel in Clinton by Dr. Marc Coker.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the Presbyterian Home in Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to The Presbyterian Home of SC, 801 Musgrove St., Clinton, SC 29325.
