 Lula Gail Blackwell, age 74, wife of Jeffrey Brian Blackwell, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. 

 Gail was born on July 16, 1950 in Clinton, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Paul Foster and Vera Hedspeth Foster. She retired after 30 plus years from Whitten Center as a nurse and teacher. Gail enjoyed cooking, watching her soap operas, loving her grandkids and of the Baptist faith. 

 In addition to her husband of 56 years, Gail is survived by her son, Jeffrey Brian Blackwell, Jr. (Nicole Morin) of Clinton; her daughters, Vera Lawson (Heath) of Clinton and Stephanie Sullivan (Henry) of Kinards; her brothers, Stan Foster of Lexington, Tony Foster of Clinton; her sisters, Frieda Spoon of Laurens, Kathy Foster of Greer; her grandchildren, Courtney, Shelby, Reid, Cameron, Sophia, Austin, Abby, Hayleigh, Jakota, Hayden; her great-grandchildren, Brody, Foster, Addi, Rowan, Haven and many nieces and nephews. 

 Gail is preceded in death by her two brothers, Gerald Foster and Ronald Hedspeth.

 The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Stephanie Sullivan, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A private family service will be held at a later date.
