Madie Jean Boyce Price, age 75 of 17 Tina Dr., passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
She was born in Joanna, SC and was a daughter of the late Rafe Russell and Madie Elizabeth Rogers Boyce.
Mrs. Price retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are her husband, James W. Price of the home, three daughters, Deborah (Wayne) Steele of Clinton, Shirley Wilbanks of Laurens, Brenda Abercrombie & Shannon Gossett of Whitmire; a brother, Dalton Boyce of Greenwood, two sisters, Ernestine Franklin of Joanna and Beth Campbell of Clinton; grandchildren,
Gene Steele (Julie), Brian Steele (Jon Jon), Tina Alexander, (Tim),
Tommy Dunaway (Sierra), Stevie Price, Jason Price (Tasha), Ashley Price, Ron Abercrombie, Joey Abercrombie Tiffany Gossett and Will Gossett; great-grandchildren,
Brandon Steele, Keaton Steele, Jaylen Steele, Jeremy Steele, Tori Steele, Jordan Steele, Landon Steele, Gage Lowman, Bonds Lowman, Taylor Alexander, Lydia Dunaway, Abigail Price, Kristian Freeman, Valoree Ellison, Kameron Ellison and Christopher Nguyen.
Mrs. Price was predeceased by one son, James “Cotton” Price.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Sherrill Green, Rev. Mark Entrekin and Rev. Donald Henson with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Church .
The family will be at the home of Tina Alexander, 603 Church Street, Laurens, SC.
