Maebelle Silvers Rochester

Maebelle Silvers Rochester age 79, of 316 Spring St. died Monday, April 9th at White Oak Manor in Newberry.
She was born in Graham County, NC and was a daughter of the late Bergen and Lora Jane Griggs Silvers.
Mrs. Rochester retired from J.P. Stevens after 32 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Ann Millstead of Rock Hill, Billie Lindler and husband, Kenneth E. Lindler of Prosperity, Charles Eugene Kinsey of Spartanburg; a brother, Harley Silvers of Whitmire; two sisters, Edna Melton of Whitmire, Ada Crowe of Newberry five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Lloyd Silvers, Roy Silvers; one sister, Ruby Finney, one daughter, Barbara Kinsey.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 11th at 3:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
The family will be at 902 Long Road, Prosperity, SC.
