Marcia Morgan Copeland

Marcia Morgan Copeland, age 74, wife of George W. Copeland, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Presbyterian Community of Clinton.

She was born on March 13, 1950 in Gainesville, Florida and was the daughter of the late William Edson Morgan and Clara Alma Williams Morgan. Marcia graduated from Gainesville High School in 1968, then attended Greenville Tech in 1973 receiving an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy. She worked as a Physical Therapist until 2004 when she enrolled in Alpha School of Massage that led to her starting her business, Turning Point Therapeutic Massage from May 2004 – 2016.She attended First Methodist Church of Gainesville and Mountville Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband of 28 years, Marcia is survived by her brother, Brian Morgan and her niece, Sashara.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton at 3:00 PM with Dr. Duke Dixon officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service.
