Margaret "Betty" Burnette

Margaret “Betty” Burnette age 76 of 85 Country Lane passed away Saturday, Mar. 31, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Massachusetts and was a daughter of the late Irving and Margaret Torrey.
Betty was a former employee of Vermont American and the South Carolina Department of Special Needs and Disabilities.
Surviving her are one son, Kurt Payden of Clinton; three daughters, Melanie Thurmond of Clinton, Donna Porter (Jesse) of Fountain Inn, Dawn Williamson (Michael) of Piedmont, a granddaughter raised in the home, Lisa Holder (Bradley) of Pelzer; two brothers, Sumner Torrey (Teresa) of Rehoboth, MA, Henry Torrey (Paula) of Waterloo, SC; a sister, Sarah Bacon (Allen) of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Cindy Torrey of Foxboro, MA; six grandchildren, Michael Grover, Amanda Wheeler (Laura), Briana Dees, Jena Dees, Brittany Epps (Zac), Jonathan Williamson; fourteen great grandchildren and her 4legged kids, Prissy, Booty, Lilly and Pumpkin.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Payden and a brother Richard Torrey.
The family would like to invite friends to the home and share memories of Betty’s life, Friday, April 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
