Margaret “Peggy” Conmy, age 48, of 227 Irby Ave passed away January 23, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Newburgh, NY and was the daughter of Kathleen Farrenkopf and the late Richard Whritner.
Peggy was employed with the Greenville Hospital System at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital as a pharmacy tech. She loved to paint, whether a room in her house or paint-by-numbers, she loved the outdoors; and was a huge Denver Broncos fan. She lovingly called her dogs her “babies” and will be remembered as a loving wife and a good person.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Gene Conmy of the home; her daughter, Brittney Sias; brothers, Kenny (Sharon) Markarian and Edward (Fairlight) Whritner; and a sister, Cathryn (Lawrence) Chaback.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Laurens.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
