Margaret C. Jones, age 94, of Pinehaven St. Ext., passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the NHC of Laurens.
She was born in Newport, TN, and was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Marie Butler Jones.
Mrs. Jones retired from Southern Worsted Textile Plant in Taylors. She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church and the Welcome Sunday School Class, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Robert B. Jones, Sr.; her son, Robert B. Jones, Jr. of Waterloo; her daughters, Carolyn B. Jones of Waterloo and Joyce A. George (Bill) of Greenville; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 3 children, Robert Sherrill Jones, Cornelia June Forrest and Sandra Darlene Bridgeman; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28th, at 2:00 PM, at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens, with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
