Margaret Ann Preston

Margaret Ann Preston age 77 of 101 Florence St. passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Cortland, NY and was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Grace Eugenia Doyle Nichols.
Mrs. Preston was a former employee of Whitten Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society, Mountville Magnolia’s.
Surviving are her husband, Harold Preston, Sr.; her daughters, Grace E. Warren (Scott) of DeRuyter, NY and Brenda Gantt Rhodes (Stephen) of Clinton; her son, Harold J. Preston, Jr. of Mountville; her grandchildren, Margaret Ann Cohn, Aaron Scott Warren, Kristi Ann Preston, George Alvin Gantt, Jr., Jonathan Allen Gantt, nine great-grandchildren, and her constant companion, Little Missy.
She was predeceased by her son, Brent Lester Preston.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23rd at 2 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with burial in Mountville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, PO Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
