Margaret A. Parrish, age 83 of 315 Davidson St., died Thursday, Jan. 26th at her home.
She was retired from Bailey Hospital and from Presbyterian College and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are three sons, W. C. (Billy) Parrish, Jr. of Clinton, John (Ben) Parrish of Canton, NC and Marshall E. Scott of Orem, Utah; two daughters, Evie P. Fulmer of the home and Norma L. Marler of Cross Hill; grandchildren, Carroll (Bo) Ethridge, Jr. and Drew Fulmer both of the home, Josh Scott, serving a church mission in Boston, MA, Kimberly Scott, Steven Scott and Dusty Scott all of Orem, Utah, Michael Scott of Houston, TX, Julie Hammond of Montpellier, Idaho, Ronnie Johnson of Clinton, Carmen Hipps of Canton, NC and Jennifer Delaney of Dublin, Ireland; great grandchildren, Alan M. Ethridge of the home, Connor Scott of Houston, TX, William Tyler Johnson of Clinton, Ethan Hipps and Emily Hipps both of Canton, NC, Michael, Tyler, Jessica, McKennzie, Emily-Rose and Mathew Hammond, all of Montpellier, Idaho.
She was predeceased by a son, Eddie Drew Parrish and a grandson, Michael Scott Ethridge.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 31st at 3:00 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church by Pastor Denise Seymour with entombment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Fulmer, Jamie Fulmer, Drew Fulmer and Maurice Wilkinson; Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Rufus W. Watkins, Dr. Mell S. Patterson, Jana Tribble, Connie Perritt, Laura Chapman, Amanda Suttles, Janet Rowland, Beth Davis, Anita Hill, Melissa Kirk and Vickie Williams.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
