Margaret Henderson Curry, 85, of 105 Fox Trail, Laurens, passed away on
May 25, 2012, at Agape Senior of Laurens. She was the widow of John R.
Curry, Sr. and the daughter of the late Era Crow and Men-ill Bush
Henderson of the Owings community.
Mrs. Curry was a retired Realtor and founder of Palmetto Heritage Real
Estate. Prior to her retirement, she was active in many local clubs,
organizations, and civic endeavors. She was a member of First Presbyterian
Church of Laurens.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Patty) Cook Craine and her
husband Bill of Laurens, granddaughters Kristin Craine and her husband
Michael Dutton ofMontclair, VA, and Kylie Craine Logan and her husband
Ed of Atlanta, GA, and great-grandsons Paul & Liam Dutton. She is also
survived by sisters Carolyn White and Juanita Gray-Bobo of Fountain Inn
and Eleanor Brooks and her husband Clyde of Simpsonville.
She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Earl Cook and her brother Walter Henry Henderson.
In accordance with her wishes, private interment was held at Cannon's
Memorial Park in Fountain Inn.
