Margaret Q. Metts

Margaret Q. Metts age 92 of 1456 Hwy. 66 and widow of Daniel Cecil Metts, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Greenwood.
She was born in Prosperity and was a daughter of the late Joseph David and Belle Werts Quattlebaum.
Mrs. Metts was retired from Whitten Center and was a charter member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Marian Metts Christian of Greenwood; a sister, Eula Q. Livingston of Columbia; a special cousin, Ruth Chapman of Newberry; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and her constant companion, “Pooh”.
She was predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Marlene Metts and two granddaughters, Tara Saxon and Margaret Edgins.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Timothy Lutheran Church with burial in the Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
