Marshal Talmadge Vaughan, Sr., age 92, of 1540 Sandy Springs Road, died Monday, August 17, 2015, at his home.
He was born in Woodruff and was a son of the late Morris Talmadge and Mildred Kellette Vaughan.
Mr. Vaughan retired from Torrington Bearing Company, was a member of the Baptist faith, and a former Shriner. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Vaughan is survived by his wife, Betty Rice Vaughan; his son, Marshal Vaughan, Jr., and wife, Linda, of Clinton; and his granddaughter, Angie Trammell and husband, Jimmy, of Clinton.
He was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Vaughan, and a sister, Elise Satterwhite.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
