Martha Bost, age 73, formerly of 102 Clemson Street, died February 6, 2012, in the National Health Care of Laurens. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Othella Stevenson Simmons. She worked in retail and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Bost is survived by her husband, John Bost of Laurens; two sons, Vincent Bost of Laurens and John Bost, III, of Laurens; a brother Gene Simmons of Augusta, GA; and three sisters, Sally Braswell of Clinton, Judy Madden of Laurens, and Wilma Lamb of Laurens.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11, at 5:00 PM, at Second Baptist Church in Laurens.
