Martha Lyree Jenkins Holmes

Martha Lyree Holmes age 73, of 270 Holly Grove Church Road, Laurens, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Hospice of Laurens County.
She was born in Gaffney, SC and was a daughter of the late Reverend and Mrs. John L. (Mamie) Jenkins.
Mrs. Holmes was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her sons, Brad Holmes (Skye) and Rod Holmes; two brothers, Olan L. Jenkins (Lynn) of Clinton and John H. Jenkins (Carolina) of Belton; sister, Vivian Koon (Joe) of Clinton; four grandchildren, Callie, Megan, PJ and Ryan.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bob Holmes; grandson, Ethan Holmes; two sisters, Shirley Huggins and Phyllis Lanford; and brother, Dean Jenkins.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
The family will receive friends following the service.
