Martha Elizabeth (Betty) Jeter Ramsey, age 73, formerly of Newberry Hwy, widow of Tony Ramsey, Sr., passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at White Oak Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of the late C.B. Jeter, Sr and Evelyn Suber Jeter.
She is survived by her son Tony Ramsey Jr. and wife Cheryl of Whitmire; her daughter Susan Ramsey Ballinger and husband David of Simpsonville; her brother Jay Jeter and wife Linda of Spartanburg; her sister-in-law Brenda Jeter of Union; her brother-in-law Carey Ramsey and wife Suzanne; her grandchildren David Ballinger Jr and wife Anna Kate of Fountain Inn, Susannah Ballinger Padgett and husband Richard of Clemson and Baxter Ballinger of Simpsonville.
She was predeceased by a brother C.B. Jeter, Jr.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd at 2 p.m. at Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire.
