Martha "Mott" Bellue Samples

Martha “Mott” Bellue Samples, age 86, widow of William V. Samples, of 1012 N Sloan Street passed away Monday, May 1, 2017.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late Lee and Mae Howell Bellue, she was retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Samples is survived by her son, Jerold Samples (Janice) of Clinton, her granddaughter Missy Lawson (Scott) of Clinton; her grandson-in-law Jackie Pearson; seven great-grandchildren, Kyle Lawson (Jennifer), Jana Lawton (Stephen), Krista Samples, Jim Page, Makayla Pearson, Daisy Pearson and Casey Lawson; and six great-great-grandchildren, Kaylen “Wee Wee” McKittrick, Addy Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Jr., Rylan Lawton, Owen Lawton, Braylen Lawson.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her granddaughter, Cheryl S. Pearson, and was the last surviving member of her family of nine siblings brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 4 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton. Burial will take place at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her son, Jerold Samples, 106 Beauregard Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
