Martha A. Wicker

Martha A. Wicker, age 68, of 501 Whitmire Hwy passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 from injuries she received in an automobile accident.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Henry “Jud” and Virginia Norris Puckett. She was a retired employee of Walmart Distribution Center and a former employee of Regal Mills Whitmire Plant. Martha was a proud cancer survivor, she loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Wicker King and husband, James of Piedmont; a son, David Wicker and wife, Kim of Anderson; a brother, Roger Puckett and wife, Letti of Pauline. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Mikayla and Mikenzie Rumfelt and Justin D. Wicker.
She was predeceased by a sister, Geraldine Puckett Busby, and the love of her life, Johnny Thomason.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 19th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mike Campbell with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday an hour before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Melissa King, 414 Cemetery St., Piedmont, SC.
