Mary Louise Brown Cauble

Mary Louise Brown Cauble, age 95, of Laurens, widow of Rudy Carol Cauble, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at NHC of Laurens.

She was born September 26, 1929 in Clinton, SC, and was the daughter of the late Furman Eugene and Clara Bell Ramey Brown. Louise retired from Monsanto of Greenwood. After her retirement, she received her GED and she started a craft store “Lakeside Crafts”. She then worked for US Postal Service as a rural mail carrier and was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church in Waterloo.

She is survived by her sons, Charles “Lud” Cauble (Melissa) of Waterloo, and Ronald “Charlie” Cauble (Lynda) of Laurens; her daughters, Laura Cauble Henderson of Laurens, and Brenda Cauble of Greenville; her brother, Frank Brown of Chaparral, NM; her sisters, Shelby B. Deitz of Clinton, Margaret Brown, and Patsy B. Taylor, both of Laurens; five grandchildren, Ed Hodges (Samatha), Travis Henderson, Carol “CJ” Cauble (Shaneki), Lori Cauble, Lesley Anderson (Sherel); eight great-grandchildren, Machele (Scott), Tyson, Noah, AnnMarie, Jake, Nikki, Tarence, Andreas, Aedan; three great-great grandchildren, Trey, William and Gabby.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Frank Henderson and John Szimanski; her grandson, Chris Cauble; her sister, Sarah Capps and her brother, James Brown.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with Rev. Dr. C.J. Cauble and Chaplain Todd Leach officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of her son, Charlie Cauble, 6524 Ekom Beach Road, Laurens, SC 29360.
