Mary Pauline Lawson

Mary Pauline Lawson age 99, passed away Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 at White Oak Manor in Newberry.
She was born in Cross Keys, SC and was a daughter of the late Lonnie Thompson Lawson, Sr. and the late Mary Sumner Lawson, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ms. Lawson was a member of the Bush River Baptist Church. She taught in the public school system for ten years and later owned and operated Mary’s Dress Shop.
Surviving are a nephew, Edgar Everett; two great nieces, Jean Ramage and Fran Underwood and their children, whom she considered her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 1st at 4:00 p.m. at the Bush River Baptist Church by Rev. Brian Preston with burial at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bush River Baptist Church, 8936 Bush River Rd., Newberry, SC 29108.
