Mary Agnes Madden

Mary Agnes Madden, age 90, of Clinton, SC, widow of Charles Wilton “Wilt” Madden, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at NHC of Clinton.
Born June 22, 1933 in Clinton, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Franklin and Hattie Agnes Patterson Lawson. She possessed an extraordinary talent for crocheting and made many beautiful crafts in her lifetime.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Motte (Vickie Goode); her daughters, Brenda Cooper, Linda Tucker (Dennis), and Jane Duvall (David); her sister, Peggy Bayne; her eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and fourteen great-great grandchildren; and her special friend, Martha Reece.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, January 18th at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Mark Entrekin and Rev. Sherrill Green officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.
