Mary Magdaline Satterfield

Mary Magdaline Satterfield, age 94, widow of Garel C. Satterfield, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2024 at her home.

She was born on March 22, 1930 in Chester, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late John William Bagwell and Sallie Mae Willard Bagwell. Mary was the owner of Mary’s Beauty Salon and a member of the Laurens Church of God.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Diane Cook (Robert) of Geogia, Melody Sue Fuller (Frankie) of Clinton and Mary Elizabeth Wilbanks (Brian) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Lesa Campbell, Niki Kuras (Bill), Tiffany Lawson (Jeff), Chris Fuller (Haley), Jeannie Clance (Jimmy), Haleigh Evans (Jason), Cameron Truelock ( Lauren) and Jasmine Truelock (Austin); her great-grandchildren Brittany Campbell, Destiny Spoone, Hannah Spoone, Selena Kuras, Jodie Kuras, Makayla Parker, Triston Parker, Marlee Truelock, Sawyer Truelock, Rowan Truelock, Lukas Clance, Raeleigh Cogsdill, and Willow Brena; her special niece, Dolores Payne of Georgia.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Charlene Campbell; her granddaughter, Amanda Cook, her great-granddaughter, Paisley Cogsdill; her brothers, Thomas Lee Bagwell, Sanford Eugene Bagwell, Clarence Ross Bagwell and Wallace Bagwell.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rosemont Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Blake Harwell officiating. Mary will be placed at her home, 1530 Highway 72 W. Clinton, SC 29325 on Monday evening until Wednesday at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VIA Hospice, P O Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.

Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the Satterfield family with services.
