Mary Frances Stanley

Mary was born in Brunswick County on September 13, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Ronie and Reatha Reeves Varnam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Marvin Stanley and her siblings, Dal Varnam, Marcella Bowling and Kitty Caison. She was a member of Sharon Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Shane Stanley of the home, Dane Stanley and wife Mary of Shallotte and Rita Lark and husband Joey of Clinton, S.C. ; grandchildren, Dana Stanley Sisk and husband David of Reno, Nevada, Marvin Joshua Stanley and wife Susan of Shallotte and Caleb Lark of Clinton, S.C.; great grandchildren, Adeline Sisk, Aidan Sisk, Caleb Stanley, Hannah Stanley, Hope Stanley and Nathan Stanley. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 5, 2025 at three o'clock in the afternoon at the Lou White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel with Reverend Landis Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in the Mintz Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Marvin Joshua Stanley, James Bowling, Joey Caison, Colin McKoy, Kelly Holden and Kenny Holden. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. 

The family would like to thank Mary's caregivers for their excellent care and attention during her illness, Lou Mangione, Robin Dowell, Lynn Brower and also VIA Hospice of Laurens County, S.C.
