Mary Dunaway Tucker

Mary D. Tucker age 88 of 100 Jefferson St. and widow of Dewitt Tucker died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 in the Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late William P. and Fannie Puckett Dunnaway.
Mrs. Tucker was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue T Gann and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Angie Corley (Gary) of Laurens, Dewitt Gann (Marsha) of Clinton, Kenneth D. Tucker, Jr. (Nicole), Tim T. Tucker (Kristin), Stacy T. Brooks (Mike) all of Lexington, SC; great grandchildren, Andrew Gann, Matthew Gann, Dylan Corley, Kelsey Tucker, Kolby Tucker, Andalyn Tucker, Megan Brooks, Abigail Brooks; one brother, William H. Dunnaway (Buddy) of Newberry; sisters, Louise Evans of Anderson, Loree Lawson of Clinton, Thelma Willard of Sumter and Rachael Rowe of Clinton.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son, Kenneth D. Tucker, Sr. and two sisters, Belle Hames and Joyce Wilkes.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
